Boston Cross Check (BCC) is a form of natural family planning or natural fertility management. As a fertility awareness method, BCC teaches individuals and couples how to recognize up to three primary signs of fertility: at-home hormonal monitoring, cervical fluid, and temperature.
BCC is beneficial for women who are:
- Trying to achieve pregnancy
- Avoiding pregnancy
- Approaching menopause
- Breastfeeding
- Seeking to learn more about their health

Boston Cross Check (BCC) originated from the Sympto Thermal Method of Natural Family Planning (NFP) in the Archdiocese of Boston in the 1970s. It has grown with instructors and clients worldwide.
BCC utilizes three biomarkers to confirm the beginning end end of fertility of each month:
- cervical fluid
- temperature
- home hormonal testing
BCC is a method that can support women throughout their lives and fertile years. Program fees are standardize and can be referenced here. Payment plans are available, but if you still need assistance with program fees, please let me know.
About the Instructor
Nicole Tiefel, DNP, FNP-C
Nicole Tiefel is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner with almost two decades of experience caring for patients of all ages. She has been working with fertility patients as a nurse practitioner for several years, and then completed the Boston Cross Check Academic Course in 2026.
Nicole has been using BCC method for nearly 10 years. She has been happily married to a veteran of the USAF for 15 years and they are blessed with four handsome, busy boys.
Sessions are personalized for each client depending on their stage of fertility. Sessions are completed confidentially one on one via Zoom. Bostcon Cross Check clients may be located in any state, as well as be worldwide.
In person sessions are also possible in the Hampton Roads, VA area.
